Exporting Recordings from the WireTap Studio Library
With the WireTap Studio Library getting your audio files where they need to be has never been easier - virtually any digital destination is just a click and drag away.
Send recordings to any local folder on your machine. Transfer to a remote server using any protocol you choose, or let WireTap Studio do the heavy lifting and choose the best available protocol for that server. Copy recordings to your iDisk for quick and easy backup. Send recorded birthday wishes to grandma via an email. Add your digitized LPs or cassettes to a playlist in iTunes or send them directly to your iPod. You can even export files to any Bluetooth device to be used as a custom Ringtone. WireTap Studio can also export the audio of your choice to your iPhone as a custom ringtone.
Each time a connection is made for an export, all of the details of that connection can be saved as a Shortcut. Streamline your work flow with common destinations and transfers just a click and drag away.
To remove a destination icon from the library window, control click inside the destination bar...
...to bring up the destination popup menu. Deselect that destination and it will be removed from the library window. To bring it back, bring up the contextual menu again and select it.
You an also use a contextual menu for more save options and access to the files behind the scenes. Control click on any file in the library to open the contextual menu. Use the contextual menu to save the recording to the Finder, save the lossless original to the Finder, delete the lossless original or package up the recording, the original and all of the saved edits for that recording into a single file and save it to the Finder.
